Understanding Business 9th Edition is due out on November 1, 2009. If you can use the 8th edition for your course, then by all means buy a copy as the price will be coming down. However, if you need the latest edition for a course next year, then you may want to wait and buy the ninth edition.
Understanding Business is a leading introductory textbook for understanding business. It includes chapters on managing a business in the global or international economy, small business ownership and entrepreneurship, business management, human resources, marketing and financial management.
The 8th Edition was published in 2006 and replaced the earlier 7th edition. The authors are Nickels (sometimes misspelled as Nichols), and McHugh and McHugh.
